House of Jones is a high-end Barbers shop in Tamworth. With considerable competition from other barbers in the town, House of Jones needed to raise their profile and increase awareness and approached Aliciam Marketing to assist with their social media content..
We met with Klinta Jones, the owner of the shop, and discussed all the services they offered and their goals. We established who their target audience was and what their motivations were.
We, initially, created a social media campaign to run for 3 months, to promote the business and raise awareness amongst their target audience.
As part of the strategy, we collaborated with the testicular cancer charity, Baggy Trousers UK, to promote their campaign – ‘Have the guts to check your nuts’. The campaign fitted perfect with their target male audience. We approached the local Mayor, Richard Kingstone, who was delight to support the campaign, by having his hair cut at the barbers for PR purposes. Posters were put up in the men’s changing rooms in local gyms and men’s toilets in the local pubs, along with Facebook and Instagram coverage. The campaign was even covered in the national ‘The Barber’ magazine and local paper ‘The Tamworth Herald’ and local online news sites.
House of Jones were delighted with the whole campaign and the awareness and interest it generated.
